Ancestral Dance
Hexe Fey

First created as part of an ancestral dance residency at BASE Experimental Arts + Space, Ancestral Dance is an Indigenous Futurist sound and projection installation/performance incorporating glitch art and archival film and video from the Library of Congress. The work invites you to participate and analyze your own participation in the rupture of technologies and people pushed to their limits, the Ghost Dance, indigenous time, spiritual warfare, ancestry, ancestral guidance and dances; and US colonization and genocide.
